Project Overview

The platform demonstrates a complete biometric identity management workflow covering user registration, biometric capture, quality validation, template generation, duplicate detection, authentication, administration, and reporting.

The enrollment workflow captures basic user information along with face, fingerprint, iris, and digital signature data. Captured biometrics undergo quality validation before biometric templates are generated and stored securely for subsequent identity verification.

The authentication workflow allows registered users to be verified through newly captured face or fingerprint data. Newly generated templates are compared with enrolled templates and the system produces an access-granted or access-denied decision with corresponding authentication records.

The Challenge

Biometric identity workflows require structured enrollment, reliable biometric capture, quality validation, template generation, duplicate detection, and secure authentication processes. The addresses the need for a controlled demonstration platform that allows stakeholders to evaluate these core capabilities before moving toward a full-scale enterprise implementation.

  • Create a structured enrollment workflow for registering users and capturing their biometric identity information.
  • Validate captured face, fingerprint, and iris data for quality before generating biometric templates.
  • Detect potential duplicate biometric records during enrollment and provide clear duplicate-found or no-duplicate-found results.
  • Authenticate registered users by comparing newly captured biometric templates against enrolled templates and recording the authentication decision.

We structured the solution around four connected workflows that demonstrate the biometric identity lifecycle from enrollment through authentication and administration.

  • Biometric Enrollment - web-based user registration, personal details capture, face enrollment, fingerprint enrollment, iris capture, digital signature capture, and enrollment approval.
  • Biometric Processing & Validation - face, fingerprint, and iris quality checks, blur and brightness validation, biometric template generation, and duplicate search.
  • Authentication & Verification - live face and fingerprint capture, quality validation, template generation, biometric comparison, access-granted/access-denied decisions, timestamps, and authentication logs.
  • Administration & Reporting - user management, enrollment status monitoring, authentication logs, alerts, dashboard statistics, reports, and configurable biometric settings.
  • Digital Identity & Secure Storage - user identity generation with QR code/barcode, secure storage of user profiles and biometric templates, enrollment status, and enrollment history.
  • Demo-Level Integrations - fingerprint scanner SDK, camera integration, QR code generation, face capture library, and local biometric database.

Quality validation for captured biometrics including fingerprint quality, face quality, blur detection, brightness checks, and duplicate biometric search before enrollment approval.

Face & Fingerprint Authentication

New biometric samples are captured through connected cameras and fingerprint scanners, converted into templates, compared with enrolled templates, and used to generate Match/No Match and Access Granted/Access Denied results.

Admin Dashboard, Logs & Reports

Administrative dashboard with enrollment statistics, authentication activity, user management, enrollment queues, authentication logs, duplicate and quality alerts, configurable settings, and enrollment/authentication reports.
